What stage are you at - Are you studying for your Accounting degree or are you studying for your professional exams?

At the degree stage, some lecturers can leave a lot to be desired and done help the situation. What you should try to do is relate what your are learning to every day scenarios - this will make it more interesting, relevant and easier to retain.

If you are at the professional stage, things become more interesting - The exams are much harder and what you are really being trained as is a 'problem solver', and it is this experience and training is what will make you a great manager.
