The Chaser's War on Everything was probably the best thing shown in OZ. Shame its not on anymore.

The aussies do a great version of Masterchef (quite different format to the UK version - its more like Big Brother for chefs, but with no attention whoring twats).

Summer Heights High has to be mentioned.... shame it was only 8 episodes. Shown on TV here too from time to time (it was on RTÉ2 last year).

Yeah Summer Heights High was very good and completely ripped the piss out of Neighbours/H&A

I'm watching this at the moment. It's quite funny, pretty much an Aussie version of the Thick of it but with less swearing.

Underbelly - the Australian Sopranos - is the best Australian show ever made IMHO. It has been mentioned here a few times if you do a search.

Summer Heights High definitely deserves to be mentioned.

If you're into America's Next Top Model, you should have a look for Australia's version. Much bitchier and no Tyra ;)

    `Packed To The Rafters

That was on RTE1 this morning about 2am. It wasn't too bad actually.

Used to like The Secret Life Of Us back in the day.

    Not `Home & Away`

    Neighbours

RTÉ had Murder One and Waterrats, they did show Summer heights high and Kath and Kim. Check their late night schedule they sometimes have Australian shows.

TV3 did have Breakers  and All Saints.

Underbelly as mentioned already, also there is a prequel to it called tale of 2 cities and another coming out this year. Also I don't know if RTE have had it but City Homicide is also very watchable. Kinda like an Australian Bill.

Aussie: Saw a few episodes of Summer Heights High; it was quite good alright. Didn't like the Tongan character but the exchange student and the drama teacher were hilarious.

New Zealand: Outrageous Fortune is definitely worth checking out. TV3 showed the first two seaons a couple of years ago and I loved it. Haven't seen it for ages though. :(

Loved Water Rats, its on FX if you have Sky. AAnyone remember Adrenaline Junkies? Good show that. One of the funniest things I ever saw on RTE was The Adventures Of Lano and Woodley. Used to be on after the Champions League, back in the school days. Am I the only one who remembers these?

I've watched Packed to the Rafters a few times (at 3am) and it looks ok. Why don't they show it at a decent time? Is it big in Oz?

    Orange pilled.

    +1 for that
The second season (a tale of two cities) was dubbed "a tale of two titties". Think that should be recommendation enough tbh:p
