Competency Cert Requirement?

    Hi

Scenario: I am a current holder of a shotgun cert and I am a target club member.

I recently applied for a .22lr rifle cert and supplied a letter with application detailing previous experience/competence, to the effect that I currently hold a firearm cert and I am a club member.

Do I still need to supply a competency cert or should the above suffice?

    Regards

that should suffice as you are not new to shooting or the system

It's not a competency cert that's needed anyway, just proof of competence. This can be anything from length of time shooting to having held a training certificate or being a member of a club for a period of time.

    Understood, thanks for that.
