Mf 290 Clutch query

    Hi folks,
I've an 86 Mf290 4 wheel drive with a clutch that badly needs to be adjusted. I've located the area for adjusting the clutch. (Obviously if the clutch needs to be replaced it needs to be replaced & will do, but first just want to see if I can adjust it a bit more.).
What I'm just wondering is how easy is it to adjust? I've a mechanic I can call but I would like to give it a shot myself first...:) Any pointers would be helpful..Currently when driving & changing gears you nearly need to be stationary to change gears (with foot buried to floor).
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks.

    Marlyman,
Thanks a million for the link, I followed the advice from the doc about adjusting the clutch & it worked. It's like having a new Tractor again :)
Thanks again for posting the link, there's a lot of useful bits in the doc.

    AgriAir.
