I was wondering if anyone can help, I got my boyfriend an i pod at christmas and he put 3 cds on it yesterday. Is there any way of selecting certain songs and albums to have on the i pod? As it is we can only seem to have the entire library on it. When we try and sync it and choose whic albums we want on it only one of the 3 we put on from cd's shows up in the 'my i pod' section.

    Thanks!

Configure iPod or iPhone for manual management

If you have iTunes 7* or later follow these instructions.

    1. Connect iPod or iPhone to your computer.
    2. Open iTunes.
    3. Select iPod or iPhone in the Devices list.
    4. Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos."
    5. Click Apply.
    6. When manual management is enabled, you can still sync some content automatically. Select any content tab such as Video to enable automatic syncing for that type of content.

Manually adding content to your iPod or iPhone

After following the steps above, you can add individual songs, videos, and playlists from iTunes to your iPod or iPhone. Just drag the item to the iPod or iPhone icon in the Devices list on the left-hand side of the iTunes Window.

Tip: You must first import audio CDs into iTunes before you can add them to the iPod or iPhone. If you're having difficulty syncing songs to iPod or iPhone, click here.

Note: Even when manually managing, some content may only be available from one library at time. This includes all content on iPhone and video content on iPods.

    Hi there,

    New iphone owner here.

I am about to hijack this thread, so apologies in advanvce. I did not want to start a new one as it is a problem to.

I have an iphone that the slide function has stopped on. I now have to select the function and tap twice to use. I also have an annoying voice telling me what to do every time.

I know it is something simple as my 7yr old did this, so any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers TheGEN.

Sounds like you have some accessibility settings turned on. Go into Settings>General>Accessibility and turn them off.

    Dermo,

Thanks for that. Vodafone are not offering support on the iphone as yet, gave me another number. No answer there. I managed to get into the menu and found the problem. I had voice dialling or something like it turned on. All sorted now.

    Thanks.
