Apologies in advance for how this is worded!

So, basically I have 2 devices with 3.5mm inputs that I want to connect to the one speaker system via a 3.5mm cable.

I don't mind interference as only one of the devices will ever be on, or transmitting sound, at the one time.

I mistakingly bought a headphone splitter (as below):

But I need the exact opposite. The only thing I can find which appears to do the job is this on Amazon.com:

But could someone find one for me on Ebay or Amazon? As I've tried searching and can't get the wording right.

And here it is at Radioshack!

Anyone able to find me a seller here, or that would ship here?

    Cheers Eddie.

I eventually got a US seller of the cable to ship it to me for $8.99 (including shipping).

You will have to unplug the device thats not in use or you run the risk of damaging it.

Unplug the cable from the adapter of the device not in use? Kinda defeats the purpose..! :(

Yes it does. You will feed audio back into the other device.
I've been there. Accidently plugged audio into the output of a soundcard and blew one channel.
