Hello this is my first post on here and i see there is a lot off boxing fans on here so i just wanted to ask if anybody knew who andy lee was fighting next and where? i know his last performance wasnt his best when he lost the last two rounds due to lack of concentration or whatever but i see huge talent in him and hope he gets to the top.Is he still with stewart?

Lee is still with steward as far as i know but i dont know who he is fighting next.I wouldnt hold my breath on lee picking up a title at middle weight this year or ever really. macklin on the other hand maybe.

He'd still managed by Manny Steward but he's not trained by him anymore.
He's trained by New York based trainer(and former two weight World title holder) Joey Gamache.

Lee has plenty of time on his side but worryingly hasn't seemed to have improved on any of his flaws shown up in the Vera fight.
He has trouble fighting on the inside, and also trying to clinch while hurt.
He has questions over stamina aswell.

When a fight is at range Andy is great, but when you're showing such a weakness on the inside, better fighters will be able to find their way in and if you can't do anything to stop them in their tracks when they get there, you're gonna be in trouble.

Macklin is a better prospect for winning a title at the moment, and is quite a bit ahead of Lee. Although Macklin is 2 years older and has had 7 more fights, and 2 years or 7 fights ago in Macklin's career I'd have never given him a chance to pick up a World title and winning the European would be his absolute peak, so........
