Im considering upgrading to a .22mag from me .22lr. with a silencer on a magnum is it still loudish or does the silencer do the job well?? Hardly be as quiet as me 22 shooting subs? shooting rabbits and greys and magpies, i want a flatter trajectry, hold over and under does me head in. .22mag looks cheap to run, seem to be flat out to 100yrds

I shoot mine without a mod and it's between 2 and 3 times as loud as my .22lr. Although I would say you could put a better mod on to the mag to keep it fairly quiet...

There is still a fair crack of the 22mag. Its not near a 223 or swift but if your planing shooting bugs bunny i would recommend a mod.
    Cheers

God no, I'd be useless for whacking bunnies. Those little buggers are fast and let's be honest, I'm no Usain Bolt. It'd take me forever to sneak up and conk one over the head with my air rifle.

    Connor then :P

Grasshopper, let me show you the ways of the bunny :)

Air rifle (+ or - 12 ft lbs) bunny shooting is very big in UK, usual ranges 25-45 yards ;)

Not with my air rifle it's not Bunny :D
Getting shot with that thing would probably only serve to tick the rabbit off :D
