Weather Senarios

Walking home this evening it looked very etheral with the snow and the freezing fog.

As i tend to do occasionally whereever i am i thought to myself

"What would happen if there was a Z attack right now?"

Sure the ice would impede zed movement but the chaos the weather is causing would also work aganist it.

Physcologically speaking hordes of Zed emerging from the fog would send even the most hardended Zed killer tremble. Visibility for us is very limited with it as well.

So any further thoughts as to what weather would be most hinder or hurt us?

It would slow us all up, humans and Zeds. The Zeds would probably frezze in a couple of days though.

Yup they're cold blooded in most canons so they'd literally be frozen. This would have advantages and disadvantages.

If they freeze it means all you need is a hurley or some kind of bludgeon and you can smash them like in terminator 2 that would be fun going out drunk zombie tipping haha

I think this weather would be more of a hinderance to us then to any Zombies that would be about. Dont think its quite cold enough (in most places) to freeze them solid, but if is cold enough to seriously harm us if exposed to it for long enough.

A hurley will do the job if they are not frozen as well :)

Well should a Z day attack happen in the height of this bad weather living in your attic is going to be really really hard. The cold and damp in the attic would be so mentally draining and would put a great deal of stress and panic on any survivors planning on using it.

Should all the power to your house go, gas/oil/electricity then heating your home woud come down to a fire, which in an attic would not be the best choice so yes it would freeze the Z's allowing for a much easier job of rounding them up and finishing them off but also Z hunting in such conditions would be extremly dangerous given the chances of you slipping or falling and breaking something and not been able to get away.

Also the amount of calories the body would need to use to travel/hunt/scavenge and be aware of a Z attacking you in such conditions would make going outside a really tough choice.

That's why every survivalist should take advantage of the home insulation grant. Insulate your attic roof and floor using the grant and there would be no heat issues in the cold.

The Zombies would most certainly freeze quite quickly in this weather with no way of generating heat, the limbs freezing first would make them immobile and probably very brittle at joints. The freezing of the tissues and then thawing would more than likely do a whole lot of damage which would all mean this kind of weather vastly increases the advantage the living human has over the living dead and come spring time those zombies that do survive will be considerably slower and weaker.

I think weather like this is an awesome advantage. All you need is to wrap up well and you can go out for a the whole day without stopping.

I doubt zombies would have the momentum to slip easily on ice,but wouldn't be able to stand up afterwards either.

You can see foot prints and hear someone/thing walking in the snow near you[great bonus].

The freezing thing may vary.If the have no blood then they probably wouldn't freeze solid[apart from pure water, very little else in your body would freeze at the temperatures were having.

Access to water could be difficult if pipes freeze, but not too hard to work around
Overall,I think freezing screws zombies more than humans.
