An American 3v card?

I'm looking to buy a nokia n900 from Dell's US site. The saving is around €200 on getting the phone from an irish site so is quite the deal, unfortunately they are requiring a US credit card to complete the transaction.
I've an address to deliver it to in the US, but don't really want to ask to put hundreds of dollars on their card.
Is there any US equivalent of a 3V card that would be acceptable to Dell is there? A quick google brought up things like Obopay and top1card but I've no idea if it would be accepted, or how safe those sites are. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!0
