    Hi All,

A few of us heading to Alpe d'Huez in a weeks time. Has anyone got any useful bits of local knowledge to share? Places to go, eat, must run slopes etc? ... or more importantly, places we should stay clear of! We are a mixture of boarders and skiiers from beginner to experienced.

    Thanks

A warning to the boarders. The Sarenne run is marketed as the longest "black" piste in Europe. It is quite steep at the top but then follows a VERY long, almost level route through a forest. It's pleasant enough on skis but I would imagine hard work on a board.
