Hi, i'm not sure if this is in the right forum of not. It's not exactly a 'relationship issue'. I was recently in the UK. A friend of mine in Ireland asked me to get a Ryanair calendar when I was coming back. Anyway I was on the flight home and had made eye contact with the air hostess about 2 - 3 times. I thought she was quite good looking. Usually they come around selling the calendars during the flight but on this occasion they didn't. I decided to stop this particular air hostess as she was waling down the aisle and ask her if she had the calendar for sale. She stopped and started smiling. She said "sorry we don't have them for sale on the today's flight. You can get them on the website if you want but unfortunately it won't have my signature on it". I thanked her but really didn't know what to say back as I was a little confused. She then went on with what she was doing.

I just thought it was a bit of an unusual comment. I'm just wondering what others make of it? She was smiling away while she was talking to me and I gave her a smile going off the plane. Am I reading too much into this?

Yes, you are reading too much into it IMO. It was a joke maybe a bit of flirting. No big deal!

Maybe she's in the calender and thought you recognised her from it? Or maybe she was coming to the end of a very long shift and had a completely fried brain :) When you work around the public sometimes you're kinda talking to them on autopilot whilst thinking 'my feet hurt...wonder if I could sneak off for 10 minutes and eat the mini-crunchie I have secreted in my pocket...dooo de dooo dee dooo..does my breath smell' etc

It was a joke/flirtation. Initial reaction, if you were interested, should have been "Will you sign my copy if I buy you dinner?" /cheese ;)

You should work shift work and deal with people all day long.... You OD on COffee and turn into a flirt machine...

I am sure she was smiling thinking about the session she was due to have out in Swords that night with all those lovely young Co Pilots :)

Maybe she wants to marry you?

As already mentioned - sounds like she's one of the stewardesses featured in the calendar and was trying to bring this to your attention for reasons of...

....vanity or, wanting to have sex with you/marry you:)
