    To answer your first question.

    There is a hotel nearby, the Bloomfield House Hotel, it's closer to Mullingar though to be honest http://www.bloomfieldhousehotel.ie/

    As for cabs I'm lost, try 11811 maybe. If you need one in Mullingar ring 1800 520 222, they will never let you down and have several cars on the road 24/7.
