    Using a tractor and rope as a ski tow, wonder would any Wicklow farmers be interested in making a few bob;

    A few skiers/boarders get together pay a farmer to drag em up a suitable hill with a rope, rope is knotted for grip say every 6 foot
    15 people pay farmer 30 for the day, thats 450 for the farmer !

    Main prob would be public liability :(

    It's what the first ski lifts were after all. Know any enterprising farmers with a decent gradient hill on their land?

    Ski club of ireland used to own some sort of quad bike like item back in 'nam that doubled as a mobile rope tow for when it used to snow decently every winter - so it can be done.
