    Hey dudes,

I just entered in my mix into an online competition called Next Generation DJ and basically they are trying to find the best young talent.

The 1st round is just as many people uploading mixes as they like but it is whittled down to 100 DJs for the second round :)

the top 100 is judged on number of votes/listens/overall rating to give a final score, and they basically tell you the object of the first round is to prove how popular you can make your mix!

So if you guys want to support and up and coming Irish DJ (I'm just about to turn 19) then click here and vote 5 stars for my mix :) have a listen as well if you have 30 mins to spare, you won't be disappointed, I promise :)

    Thanks :D

P.S. if you like my mix you can listen to other mixes here

pity the website requires the voters email address to register the vote, that could hamper your canvassing but I'll have a listen and best of luck.

had a listen, I won't lie to you, I'm not mad about it but that's probably down to the fact that I'm not into the genre...I'm not one to comment on your mixing technique etc (because I'm pretty crap at mixing) so I'll say best of luck and keep it up.

Voted there too, I think maybe sticking in Warp and Phantom could have been a bit of a no-no but apart from that it wasn't too bad! Fair play!

Ah ye I know what you mean but I like the quick transition from Warp in to Cornelius so I tend to use it haha And Phantom still always goes down well whenever I play it :)

The competition itself looks fairly commercialised anyway so i thought I'd put up something that people might recognise a few tunes from :)

    Cheers for voting man

I'll vote, but deffo not my cup of tea. Starts like Aural rape, but gets better, then ends at its best point. Grinding electro just isn't my thing. Its too much like interference.

    Ye he's my uncle :)

And in reply to the other, cheers for voting and I have another mix that is slightly more housey that you can download here but skip the first 15 mins if you aren't in to heavy electro :)
