Macbook to HDMI TV

and I want to connect it to my samsung plasma tv.

What do I need to it?

beware though as neither carry the audio. You will still get that from your mac or you could connect it to your hifi etc. with the 3.5mm headphone jack output

have a MacBook my self,

Have mini AVI cable to RS232 ad then via the RS232 input to my Samsung LCD TV

Sound wise, I have output from earphone socket that has dual RCA at the other end and then via RCA to my surround sound input....

mini display port to hdmi.

hdmi carries video and adio. Get the shortest hdmi cable, shorter the better.

You got a link to buy one? I only see the Kanex ones with USB Audio.

try amazon or ebay etc.

Id prefer not to give a link - as i havent bought one and dont want to give a link that may not work or is dearer than others.

get a hdmi - better and includes audio on the same wire.
