Dev has kindly allowed us to set up our own forum for Covies on Boards.

You can find it here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1306

As well as my involvement - Dev is in it as well. We almost drowned the poor man. Then almost froze him to death. And we made him eat the worst sushi ever.

Dave Curtis From the Eglinton plays a loan shark.

Manus Burke replaced Fintan Gavin at the last minute as a heavy [Some stretch there] So he's also in it.

So this is definitely the last time I'll post in the poker section about it, and I do so now because I know a lot of you guys want reminding that we start broadcasting from Monday 11th Jan.

Thanks to all at Boards and see you over at the other forum.

In short Covies is Ireland's first Online Soap. Though it's not like any soap you'd see on TV. For a start we're allowed to swear! There's more about it on the Covies website if you click the link in my sig... and that's where you'd be able to watch it.

Everyone involved in the project did so for free, no one got paid including me... and it's free to watch as well. So it's a bunch of us trying to do something new and different in a recession [and the main reason why people haven't seen me at a poker table much this year ]

Two of the finest method actors in the country.

The Hardy Bucks are gas... I wouldnt call them a soap and they are doing something very different to us (and have done great at it, more power to them). I love the way they use the limits of budget as part of their jokey atmosphere.

anyway, no one linked the actual episodes:

Fun but I wont be eating sushi much for a while :)

    DeV.
