Honestly just keep it somewhere safe. Don't invest it but yeah stick it in a regular savings account with decent interest or maybe even lock it up for 1 year for little bit more return. Not a whole lot of difference between the products being offered by the banks at the moment if you ask me.

Having spent years with money invested here and a couple of different bank accounts I have put it all together in the one. Not out of loyalty or anything - just to keep it simple.

    Open an online shares accout.

Spread your money into compaines you thnik do well at the end of the year I'd say 10 different companies sticking 300 in each.

Some good shares on the page but do research.

I wouldnt do this tbh. The fees/commission will eat up any potential profits you make!.
Also detailed research should always be done before you even touch a share. Dont act off tips!!
imo the high interest acc soumds good..!:)

Put the money into a share called Gulf Keystone.
It's £1 now, will be £2.50 - £4 in less than a year, high risk but high reward. Everybody's risk tolerance in different . DYOR
The future is there for those who dare............thats what I say to myself anyway :)
I will come back in a few months and tell you how much money you could have made :)

I'm sorry, but that's brutal advice. Your shares will need to have to go up by 10-20% before you even break even on the buying and selling costs.

That's just opinion based on no fact.

I gave loads of info backing up my statistics on the Gulf keystone thread.

Spend it before inflation kicks in. Go on a holiday. Buy something nice. However if you don't want to do that, think about gold or silver. It's much better than having it in cash. Also, look at other commodities or a commodity index ETFs. Everyone will have their own take on it. I think shares are overvalued particularly in the US where they have had a strong run recently.

As highlighted by Daragh 101, to reduce commissions look for a one trade move.
