    does anyone else think the new Seat Ibiza is a hideous looking thing?

    I did for ages.

    Then I went to Spain before Christmas and they were everywhere. I rented out a 130bhp TDI for a week and I have to say the styling made sense after a while of looking at it.
    Its a cracking drive too for a supermini.
    From the pictures it looks very tall and narrow but it's nearly Golf sized inside and has a decent boot. it looks better in the flesh but only in some colours.

    I actually think it looks good but I also think its one of those cars where color choice will be important.

    It's not cheap enough when a Leon only costs €1500 more.

    I'm a big Ibiza fan.
    Personally i think the MK4 (the model before the new one, 02-08) is the better looking of the 2. Then again it was designed by an italian, and the new one by a german :p
    However, I do still have to observe the new one up close and personal.
