Ubuntu > DLAN Ethernet > XBMC

    Hi,

    I've connected an Acer Revo running XBMC to my Ubuntu 9.04 via one of these

    However, when I FTP to it it doesn't even get over 1mb transfer speeds.

    Any suggestions as to what I could to to speed things up?
