This is minor, but it's really bothering me. Every time I click to remove my USB or my iPod connection, it keeps saying it can't. I'm used to that in college and I know that you have to click out of everything. I hate yanking my USB out, it does them no favours. Can anyone help me?

    What OS?
Read into "Optimize for Quick Removal" (And maybe something like "USB Safely Remove" to detect what's stopping it) if it's Windows.

Is there anything constantly using the disk? Certain search tools that are constantly indexing the drive will cause this.
