I've got them and have no trouble with them.

Start by making sure they are well wetted. Soak in the right solution for at least 24 hours before you start. Then clean, add a few drops of wetting solution and pop them in.

The first few times you wear them, you'll be able to feel them, but they shouldn't be painful, more like a hair under your eyelid. After that, you won't feel them at all, you just know if you've lost one because you can't see.
