Ryanair and forearm crutches

    Hi ya. Do Ryanair allow passengers to travel with crutches, without any extra charge or hassle? My grandmum has something like this and I dont know if its possible to take it in to the aircraft without any problems.. http://www.americarx.com/Products/20764.html CAnt find nothing about on their website :( . Thanx

    She may have to declare herself "impaired disability" to carry them on FOC.

    At that Ryanair will only allow four people with disability on board any flight as a safety precaution.

    You should ask for special assistance and it might be no harm to have a fit to fly cert which you can get from the doctors.

    There was a guy with 2 of those crutches on my flight on Sunday and he had to wait until everyone had boarded until he was lifted up in to the plane. they had saved three seats for him. He didnt seem to have a cast on.

    You really should phone Ryanair and explain the situation.
