Top gear rerun on RTE 2

    just watching a top gear on RTE2 and i noticed that they blurred the video of James May while he had a pipe in his mouth & a big "censored" banner


    when did they start doing this?

    jeez people, that was part of the top gear 'joke' about smoking not being allowed on TV. as they made pretty clear during the show. have a bit of cop on ffs.

    They didn't blur it in the original actually, the presenters got in trouble cos they didn't think that the herbal stuff they were smoking was illegal. The pipes were to do with the amphibious cars thing.

    The repeats on Dave blur it out to so as not to set a bad example to the kiddies :rolleyes:

    I saw Simon Cowell on MTV and he was holding a cigarette but they either kept it out of shot in a ridiculously obvious way or blurred it when it absolutely had to be on screen. It's so retarded.
