Possession of BZP

    Hi

I have received a summons for possession of a controlled drug [3 benzylpiperazine (BZP was banned last April) pills] at the Oxegen music festival last July. I live in Dublin but as the offence occured in Kildare, the sitting will be held in Naas.

I already have an adult caution for being drunk and disorderly.

Would it be better to get a solicitor from Naas or Dublin or does it really make a difference?

Is there any recommendations for suitable firms/individuals?

In light of the existing adult caution is there any chance I will avoid a conviction, receiving a fine only (I am young and dread getting a conviction for various reasons).

    Thanks
