New Laptop Advice

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for some advice on which would be the best laptop to buy.

    Budget is a little over €1000
    I would like something that is very fast with a big memory and large harddrive.
    17"HD screen and a HDMI slot for connecting to an LCD tv
    Windows 7 ..... not a MAC
    I don't intend to use it for games so an expensive graphics card is not that important, I would just like a laptop that I switch on and everything loads up quickly.
    Some people have said go for DELL but I can't figure out which make is best as I haven't a clue on the different types of processors and what they're capable of.
    I also like the Sony Vaio's but they can be a little expensive.
    Can anybody help me out with this.
