How many's of you using Screen protector on Iphone 3g, 3gs ?
I have 1 of these Power support Anti glare protector from apple site and today i took it off and i am loving the shiny screen.
I know Iphone 3gs has Oleophobic screen but do we really need one?
I use my Iphone 3gs in the pocket without any keys, coins etc.

You take your chances really. They do scratch but not easily. I got some protectoes off ebay and you'd barely know they are there.

If you didn't like the Power Support anti-glare screen, try the crystal version - it's as shiny as a naked screen - you won't realise that it's there.

I had one on my iPhone 3G from new for almost a year, and you'd be amazed at how scratched the film got (tiny, micro-scratches, but loads of them, like old paint on a car), even though it was never in a pocket with anything other than a handkerchief. I put a new one on recently, and it's back to looking new again :)

Have an invisible shield on my 3GS, which I'm not really 100% on. Had a Belkin one on my first one before the mic died and it was a much, much better fit, hardly noticed it all.

But with the invisible shield, the cover is kind of tacky or something, not as smooth as the Belkin and under certain light you can see the pattern of the plastic and it looks really chape ! One thing about the inivisible shiled though is that it's very, very good at protecting the screen, the protector never picks up any marks or anything !

Have a 3G. Did 6 months with protector and six months without. Currently without. Screen very very hard to scratch... I'm careful but not *very* careful! Happy without TBH

If your going to get one, Make sure you apply it v carefully.

Had an invisable shield on mine, very good at what it did. Took it off one day, as it started to lift around the Home button. I had it on so long i'd forgotten how clear the screen is without one....won't be replacing it.

Do you want to protect the screen for the next guy you sell the phone to, or use the phone yourself in all its glory...I've certainly changed my mind on screen protectors...

If I was Apple, I'd be sueing whoever supplys them with the oleophobic coating. It doesn't work. My handset's screen is constantly covered in fingerprints.

That's because you don't wash the damn paint off your hands:p

I do have Anti glare and Invisible shield, but my point is do we really need? i have seen video on you tube and it's very hard to scratch the screen, on the other hand some people are complaining that their screen got scratched so that's why i was wondering.

i like my screen without any screen protector and it looks much nicer.

I've ordered a "best skin ever" which I have years ago for my ipod and really like it.
Is it very hard to scratch the screen? If thats the case I might just stick the back and side covering. I constantly see ebay auction with loads of scratches on the back casing and the silver sides.

Yeah back and Silver is very easy to scratch, but screen seems bit hard.

i put my screen protector on my 3gs a couple of weeks ago. im not saying i dont like it im not saying i like it either lol. only problem is even if i wash my hands frequently, with the screen protector on, i get fingerprints all the time so i have to wipe it constantly. but back when i didnt have it, i just wipe the screen 3x a day max.
