DIT Bolton Street- A shambolic mess

    Howdy!

Allright, I got my timetable from outside the exams office before Christmas, that was grand but I asked just to make sure they were going to be sent out in the post, a women said yes they would...however 3 weeks on....still no written timetable and NO EXAMINATION CARD:mad: (which I was politly informed by a friend of mine who is in 3rd year in another DIT, that I need this to sit my exams, lovely!) So, I was wondering is anybody else in the same situation as myself who studies in bolton Street? I've tried to ring the exams office on several occasions but to no avail!

So it looks like I've got no other option but to brave the cold and trapes into Bolton Street tomorrow to get it! I find this wholly unacceptable that a 3rd level college leaves it until the last minute to send things out to you!!

Turn up to the exams with a student card and a passport/drivers license and you'll have no trouble sitting the exams.

Assuming your faculty of built environment since the faculty of engineering didtn even post the timetable sin the college. I know the engineering faculty got their timetables in the post.

You can turn up on the day of exams without the stuff and get them from the office before hand. Just bring Student ID and something else as was stated above.

I was talking to the exam office people and got my stuff from, what I could gather they didn't post it because I haven't payed my registration fees and they said I wont get my results till they've been paid :( damn grant people!

Due to HEA Cutbacks this year the exam/registration offices are severely under-staffed. Hence this year they didn't even bother with the process of having students register for exams. As the above post said though, bring your student card and passport on the day and you'll be fine.
