I will be out of work for a couple of weeks due to an injury. Does anyone know how long I have to get my medical letter into the social welfare office? Is it 7 or 21 days as I have been told different answers.

just send it off as soon as you get it from your doctor.no point in waiting coz it will take a few weeks to process.dont forget to get a cert from the doctor every week your off work to keep receiving your payment

Would they back date the payments from the date of the doctor's cert?
