    Hi,

having a look at the certifications provided by the above website. I am interested into getting into software testing. What would be the best certification to take and how long should I take to study?

Certified Associate in Software Testing seems to be a good one or is it possible to bypass this and go to the CSTE.

your help would be really appreciated.

You should also look at the larger and longer established ISTQB In Ireland its run by ISTB

    Also look at SoftTest Ireland

I think its fair to say that CSTE does not have the same level of credibility as ISTQB or even ISEB in software testing globally, except maybe in India. However, I am biased as I am CFTL via ISTQB.
