No reason why Freesat wouldnt work.

However the DTT tuner is another matter. Given pani's record to date I'd say STAY AWAY. Get the LG LF7700 or keep an eye out for reports on the whether the new Sony Freesat HDs can handle Irish DTT. Price difference is €300 though!

Have the P42-G10B , works fine for Irish DTT once they stopped broadcasting the ox16 Flag before Christmas.

Have RTENL reinstated the ox16 type Broadcast flag since?

I looked on their website and they don't list it.

Call them or check richersounds.co.uk ...they will have access to all UK Richer Sounds stock even if not listed on their Irish website

If it works or not I would stick with the Panasonic TX-P42V10 as it is a far better tv than the LG.

I got the TX-P42V10 last year and have to say was best TV I ever bought. I got mine from Watters Electrical also in Co. Armagh with a 5 year Warranty and they dropped it down to Dublin for me for free which was a bonus. Good luck with your TV hunt.
