vintage speaker repair...help!

    hi guys anyone know of the best speaker repair man in ireland if there is anyone that does it

    my one of my 1968 pre rola celestion greenback's is after getting a tear about 2" long from the edge and a hole about the size of a 1c coin punched through the paper about half way from the cone to the rim

    im pretty gutted :(
    these are the best speakers ive ever heard,and i want the tone to stay the same when fixed

    any suggestions on who could do it?

    also can anyone suggest a cheap hitman??? :mad:

    You could get it reconed I think. There's a few amp repair guys around. I think their numbers are in the sticky thread.

    in just wondering am I better off with a repair
    or a recone?
    The other one I have has been played loud for 40 years
    I'd be worried it's going to sound really different :(
