Weddings Suits

I am getting married this year and I am having a problem finding suits for me and the groomsmen and fathers.

I've pretty much decided to get one tailer for myself as I have a big problems with suit pants. I will probably go for a Navy colour, but black is a last result.

The big problem I have is I am finding it hard to find navy suits to rent or buy for everyone else. We don't want to spend more that 150-200 whatever we do per person.

    Louis copelands is too expensive.
Black tie's range is very limited.
I've tried a couple of shops in the north also with the same sort of results.

Fairbrothers formal is my next port of call - but does anyone else have any recommendations.

*FYI: I was thinking of buying a Canali suit with pleated trousers at one point, however I didn't like that style pants. It was €1,000 in Louis Copelands but only £450 in the north.

My H2B is wearing a navy uniform so I was also looking for navy suits for the others to coordinate. Best I found (for our lot) was good old M&S.

Try Aston Formal wear if Dublin is convenient for you. I used them for my wedding and also for a tux rental. They do proper alterations there, unlike other places.

if you didn't mind shopping online there is this great site www.lightinthebox.com Its a chinese site that hand-make/tailor all the clothes to your measurments. They do mens suits in a blue-black colour, that looks more blue than black to me... might work for you. it's cheap cheap... but takes 6-8 weeks I think, dont know about your time frame!

Another recommendation for Aston Formal in Temple Bar. Excellent service, professional and great quality Magee suits. Good luck!

How about Debenhams. I'm thinking of using them. When I go to them, they take my details, and measurements, and log me on their system with a code. I give my groomsmen the code, and they can go in at their leisure, pass on the code, and all my details come up: suit type, etc. It's very handy, as my groomsmen are kind of scattered. London, Laois and Kildare. Wedding is in Kerry, so we can arrange to collect suits there if we want too.
