The last few weeks especially ive been putting fresh food and water out for the birds. Hanging food and ground food. Ive had dozens of birds at a time coming to feed every day. But today they are very few and far between? Do the birds know something we dont? Why are they not feeding today? Weather is no different than of late, Cold and sunny.

They're all in my garden :D Very cold and snowy here at the moment but the birds are still feeding well. Lots of squabbling, fighting goldfinches and redpolls, a robin, a blackbird, a mistle thrush and a very, very fat ringed dove at the moment.

I think it's because lots of people who don't normally feed the birds throw bread out for them when it snows. We still have a few birds in and they feed almost all day in this weather.

i cant keep my lot in food :)

i usually just have hanging things but have been putting food all over the garden so the bigger birds can get to it.

put some cheese out today and the blackbird went nuts:) i have a huge blackbird, i think he needs to go on a diet actually.
