How long do dole payments stay in the Post Office?

My dole was paid into the post office yesterday but I was laid up sick so I didn't get down, now today I'm not much better and on top of that its snowing. How long do I have to go down and collect it?

I get mine on tuesday and I was told its there till the following monday.
