I was amused to see the local school in Passage West (Star of the Sea) is closed today but other schools like Rochestown college and schools in Douglas are open...c'mon Star of the Sea, get off yer lazy arses, Christmas is over!

Star of the Sea have burst pipes.
"c'mon Star of the Sea, get off yer lazy arses, Christmas is over! " attitude is not helpful.

suppose it depends on the area and access route of the students, my daughter's school looked pretty full (Douglas, not really affected at all).

most schools in Cork seem to be reopening Wed at earliest as we have some appalling weather ahead of us tomorrow and tonight!
