Smackdown & ECW Results This Week *Spoilers*

ECW

ECW champion Christian came to the ring to talk about the Homecoming Tournament. CM Punk and Luke Gallows come out and Punk says he's going to win the tournament, title and fans the Straightedge way. Christian asked if Straightedge means looking like you haven't showered in two weeks. Christian tells Punk he's going to be squashed by Mark Henry and won't be facing him for the title at the Royal Rumble. In a ECW Homecoming tournament bout, Shelton Benjamin pinned Chavo Guerrero to advance.
Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes come out. Ryder cuts a promo saying last week he stopped the heart of ECW and 2010 will be the year of the Ryder.
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Vladimir Kozlov.
Backstage, Tony Atlas reminds Mark Henry of all the good times they had in the past on the road and offers to be in his corner tonight. Henry turns him down and walks away, leaving Atlas there laughing.
CM Punk defeated Mark Henry after interference from Luke Gallows. Next week will be the Homecoming Finale to set up the Rumble title bout.
There were fans in front row with Hulk Who? and TNA Sucks signs during ECW.

Smackdown

Batista comes out and says that while Vickie Guerrero tried to make things right last week, she isn't the General Manager, so his match with Rey Mysterio won't happen. He calls out Teddy Long for an explanation but instead out comes Rey Mysterio, who says he is ready to go and they can have the match if Batista wants it, so the match is on for tonight.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Kane by countout.
They announce that later tonight, CM Punk will save a member of the WWE Universe.
In a backstage segment, Michelle McCool, Layla El and Beth Phoenix all make fun of "Piggy James." Layla and Michelle apologize to Beth for last week. Phoenix tells Layla they have a match tonight and she better get serious.
Backstage, Chris Jericho asks the Hart Dynasty if they are ready to make an impact. They tell him they've been ready and what happened to Bret Hart on Raw was an embarrassment.
Chris Jericho & The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Time & R-Truth.
CM Punk and Luke Gallows come out and "save" a member of the WWE Universe. He picks someone out from the crowd (I believe Manbeast from OVW) and asked him if he is ready to be safe. The fan say he thinks so and Punk asked him if he's ready to stop or not. The fan says he is ready to stop. Punk said OK, then said there's one more thing he needs to do to become part of the straightedge lifestyle, cut his hair. The fan refuses at first but finally agrees. Gallows takes out an electric razor and shaves the fan's head bald.
Luke Gallows defeated Matt Hardy.

Backstage, Teddy Long and Maria are discussing her being part of the upcoming Celebrity Apprentice cast. Vickie Guerrero arrives and says she would have been part of the cast as well, but she's been too busy. She shows Maria the new WWE action figure roles and asks her to do a sales pitch for them. The Great Khali and Runjin Singh arrive and Khali says that Guerrero's figure reminds him of a cow.
Beth Phoenix defeated Layla El. Michelle McCool attacked Beth after the match but Mickie James made the save, then kicked Phoenix as well.
WWE Intercontinental champion Drew McIntyre was being interviewed backstage when John Morrison showed up and told McIntyre he has to cheat to beat him. They ended up in a brawl, which security broke up.
Rey Mysterio vs. Batista went to a no contest when the lights went out and when they returned, both men were unconscious.

Punk v Christian at the Rumble would be immense but I doubt he will get it.

I'd prefer to see Punk in with a chance of winning the Rumble. Even if he was only one of the last 4. Doubt it'll happen though. Punk winning the ECW championship would be a bad move I think because then he'll probably have to move his new StraightEdge stable there.

I think the only person who could actually beat Christian for the title at the Rumble might be Matt Hardy. Then again, who knows what affect Jeff going to TNA has had with Matt's standing backstage. Wouldn't be surprised if Vince is pissed at him not telling them about it beforehand.

-Finlay defeated Mike Knox after nailing him with the shillelagh.


-In a WWE Divas championship tournament match, Gail Kim pinned Jillian Hall.


-Ted DiBiase pinned Chris Masters.

Worst.Ending. Ever.
Thats two weeks and Taker has not been on the show..:rolleyes:
Very ordinary show overall, with the only "memorable" moment was Punk shaving some lads head. I dunno where they are going with this angle, lets not forget its a pg era we live in.

HBK goes to church Tuesday so he only ever works Smackdown on very rare occasions. I don't really care to be honest because unless they are going to build up some young dudes, they and their horrible midget can stay on Raw.
