Could we boardsies do something like this?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_walk

I know, we've nothing to gain from it, but it could be a laugh. I reckon between friends and families and a boards announcement, we'd muster a decent sized crowd of 50 people. certainly enough to cause befuddlement at a local Tesco or in the Docklands at lunchtime...

I can see me trying to explain to the poilice why I thought that it was a zombie's head that I caved in, after I had spotted a number of them shuffling down the street. :D

If you have one, don't blame me if I get trigger happy. :P

If it moves and sounds like a Z, treat it like a Z. :D

The whole point of Zombie survivors is not to walk around like a zombie. As large scale research into zombie hordes it could be useful though.

Haven't heard of a zombie walk before but it sounds like the best thing that's ever been done. Ever. It'd be nice to break into Thriller at the end as well. All perfectly choreographed of course!

There was one in Dublin about 5 years back, around Hallowe'en. Myself and a friend were walking through Stephens Green shopping centre (I think - all the shops were closed, but the car park was open and we could walk through it, not 100% it was Stephens Green), having parked in the car park - it was late enough and there was no one around.

Then we heard a groaning sound and looked over to see 30 or so zombies shuffling towards us.

In the seconds before it became obvious they weren't the real deal, I was preparing to trip my friend and run for it.

Kind of a surreal experience - abandoned shopping centre, zombies, no one else around :D
