Making stew presentable?

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for presenting stew on a plate / bowl? I am having some friends over for dinner and will be cooking a Spanish Chorizo Lentil Stew. The problem is is that it basically looks like a lump of green mush. Is there any way I could garnish it or present it in a way that may look more appetizing?

    Thanks

Maybe serve with a couple of diagonally-sliced rustic bread roll toasted (or crutons?) & a swirl of cream.

Oh & maybe a little "dusting" of paprika to compliment the chorizo?

Finely chopped Parsley always livens things up to look at.
A few sprigs maybe if people want to pick it out?
