I think this has probably been asked and answered a dozen times so apologies in advance.

My itunes account is for the UK store, but someone gave me a giftcard for Ireland. I know it won't work for my UK account so I think I need to open a new Irish account to redeem it. Would I be able to have the stuff I bought through my UK account on my ipod along with any Irish account purchases at the same time? Hope that makes sense.

yes i have a IE and a US account.

only problem is when there's an update for an App you need to sign into the account that the App is tied to in order to download it.

    Cheers. :)

Have it set up now, stuff seems pretty pricey in the Irish store. Is the US one much better?

    They generally are priced accordingly.

Ie somthing on sale in the US store for $0.99 is €0.79 on the IE store. Of course the conversion doesn't work out favourably like the current xe.com exchange rate but there's higher VAT etc. that's included in IE.

What I usually do is buy all my apps off the IE store unless there's an app that cannot be gotten on the IE store like the last.fm app.
