    If there's anyone at all out there who has the above combination I really need some help!!

    Just bought a Huawei Modem E1550 today and have been trying for the last 3 hours to install it. It will complete the installation part but when it gets to the setup assistant, it asks to insert pc card (which is meant to be the modem as I understand from the leaflet) and then does not detect it. I've just spent over an hour on the phone with technical support who just kept telling me to keep installing and restarting but didn't fix it.

    I tried it on the home pc with windows xp and it worked fine but I need it to work on my laptop as I bought it to carry around with me. Does anyone have any suggestions at all for me??
