    Hi,

I have a friend who got the USB stick(40E) + topup of 20E yesterday and I tried to help him install the whole thing.

When I plugged in the USB stick it automatically installed the o2 software and after inputting the PIN I clicked connect and it opened the o2 registration website. I tried to access any other website google.ie etc but nothing worked except the o2 website.

So I figured they probably force you to register and went through that whole process. They send you a confirmation code and i put that one in too. After I completed the registration I clicked on the 1 free day and after that the internet started working.

I figured after the free 24H his 20Euro prepay amount would kick in automatically for 1month but he just called me telling me his internet is down again except the o2 registration site.

Anyone knows what to do here?

    Thanks

I set it up for someone a week ago, but it sounds like you haven't entered the credit or you haven't pick that you want the 30 days at €20 or the 1 day at €3.

If the credit is entered you have to select what service you want. I cant remember the layout of the O2 page, but it was fairly self explanatory.

After your 1 free day, you have to specify which "pass" type you want to use thereafter. You can choose from a 1-day pass or a 30-day pass (assuming you've sufficient credit).

So, it sounds like it's just that the free 24hr pass is up, and he now needs to choose which pass to start using (from his credit).
