CBT in Cork

I hope the mods don't mind me posting about a subject that there are loads of threads about. I have searched past threads and found info about it but what I would really like is if someone pm'd me with advice.
First of all I am not really sure if CBT is what will "fix" my problems. I have been depressed for some time now and it's all down to a lack of belief in myself. I hate everything about myself;my looks, my height, my personality, my voice. You name it, I hate it. I have a strong dislike of myself, I dwell on every failure (or perceived failure) for days, thinking about it for hours. I sometimes convince myself I am absolutely useless at everything. I lack social skills and am unable to fit in.I think about past regrets and missed opportunities all the time. I am anxious about the future (I don't have panic attacks but I breathe heavily and pace the floor when I start to worry about the future)
From what I have read, CBT can be effective in helping people suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias, Low Self-Esteem, Addictions, Trauma, Anger Problems and Stress.
I tick a lot of those boxes unfortunately.
As you can tell from the title I am based in Cork and it would be great if I could hear directly from someone who has benefited from someone who provided this service.
This has gone on too long, I have suffered in silence and now I just want it to end.
Any replies will be greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

    Hi there mate.

I received CBT for depression, OCD, anger and self esteem for 2 years. It helped me greatly. I would not be here without it. I personally recommend it.

Here is a list of counsellors registered with the IACP.. Just select Cork and 'individual' in category. Have a look through the list and find someone who does CBT. Ring around as sometimes certain counsellors have long waiting lists.

The very best of luck. Here's to beating this once and for all in 2010. :)
