No im sorry not next year anyways, if macklin beats pirog then its straight on to pavlik none of these middle weight fights with duddy, lee, moore or even barker will happen next year, maybe against eachother but macklin wont be involved hes on to world honours next after pirog.

I'd love to see it in the future but don't think it will be happening soon.
Macklin fights Pirog next and if he wins Hatton will be trying to get him one of the champions(Pavlik, Sylvester, Sturm and in that order).

If he can't get a title fight, that's when a fight with Lee may become likely.
But a fight with Moore I can't see for a little while. Moore will try and rebuild at Middleweight and get a few tune up fights to settle him to the weight.
Then a fight with Barker, should Barker not get a title shot himself.

Yeah it wud be another cracker but its the same as the whole Macklin, Lee, Duddy talk about fighting each other but they won't fight unless the money is right or they need a win over the other

I always thought Macklin was better and on current form he is the obvious choice.

Macklin was abusing himself and I have been reliably informed that that doesnt go on anymore. I think that that is what was holding him back in the past and could be the reason he hit the wall and then the canvas against Moore.

Aye the drink is the irishmans biggest nemesis , i think we will get to see what macklin can really achieve on the world scene in 2010.

Macklin would win. He looks a much better boxer now and Moore faded so much after the opening rounds in his last fight against rhodes

he said he was weight drained.

would he fade the same way at MW?

Yeah true boxers do say that those extra pounds matter when getting down to weight. I still think that Macklin would get revenge

I'd give it to Macklin just about but wouldnt judge Moore on his last bout. He could well have been tight at the weight. If this is the case he could take advantage of a ranked fighter assuming he's seen better days. These two could well fight for a world title in the not too distant future.

    I. Reckon macklin would have the youth on his side to come through another war I also believe his management are to blame for his first loss to Moore he should have never went down a weight he was too big I know his lifestyle was a bit silly but I could name a number of world champions who did worse .at middleweight macklin should win
