    Hi all,

Thinking of selling my bike. It's a rocky mountain switch sl, used a hand full of times. It's in excellent condition.

Not sure how much it's worth, any thoughts?

    Pic here.

    Thanks :)

Worth alot more than you will get for it TBH.

Youd do well to get 700.

Thanks Kona, it's really a nice bike but we all know nothing holds value these days.

    Any interest at €600 folks?

Bike is in excellent shape and was rarely used.

It might be an idea to clean the bike up and then take more pictures of it.

It's actually fairly clean, tyres are just a bit dirty but I'll give it a wash at the weekend and take some more pics :)

Might be interested but just how small is it? I'm 6'3" so it might be a bit ridiculous

    Sorry for the late reply.

To be honest I think it would be too small (short wheelbase) for a 6'3er.

Yes, it's not a full on downhill bike, it has 6" of suspension travel front and rear so it's great fun on the decents but you can still cycle up the hills after :)

I'd say you would be fine height wise, because of the 6" of travel and high bb the standover height would be higher then a cross country 16.5".

You are welcome to see the bike, it's in North Dublin.

The bike is at my parents house and I'm working nights until Sunday morning, I wouldn't be able to get over till Sunday afternoon at the earliest. Sorry.
I would be free anytime Mon, Tues and Wed next week.

I can't really go any lower then 600, it's a bargain at that price. The bike has only been used a handful of times and is in near perfect condition. Plus there are a few upgraded parts fitted (tyres/stem/seatpost).

I was going to break it and sell the parts/frame separately if it didn't sell, I would have easily made the 600 mark that way.

Bear in mind this bike was £2750 new

It's hand made after all, wheels are also hand built.
