    So in two weeks time i'm getting 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer 1.3l petrol 16 valve for E1000 with two years nct from my local autoservice... some parts have to be fixed by the autoservice but it will be good to go in two weeks...it has clocked up 60000miles .. So did anyone had a lancer ? are they good (reliable)? Just post your opinion about the lancer:D:D:D:D

    They're 12 valve

    They're pretty good but can give trouble with coil packs, wiper linkages, central locking motors and other minor electrical stuff.

    yeah they are 12 valve.... but at the moment that car uses a lot of oil and has high emmisions because of that ... the autoservice will fix that problem and pass the nct

    Will be interesting to see how they solve an oil consumption issue on a €1000 car...

    The only reason I pointed out that they're 12 valve is that you put 16 valve in your original post.

    If it was me I would find something different.
