Now that January & February are for Female and antlerless deer can someone confirm if a pricket is classed as Antlerless deer when he only has spikes. I thought I read somewhere a long time back that a pricket with just spikes was not classed as antlers and could be hunted. This just came up in a conversation recently and there was a mixed opinion, some said yes and some said no.

Antlerless deer will be construed as including any male deer without antlers, of less than one year, ie a calf.

that is from the back of your hunting permit from the dep of environment, so i think if they have any sort of spikes then don't shoot them..
