Does anyone know any official ones in Dublin and that do the course efficiently?

    Thanks in advance.

You will find alot of places offering TEFL courses on the internet, where you can earn your certificate in a single weekend. These are usually scams and your "certificate" isn't worth the paper it's written on. Basically if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is :P

I'd suggest going for a CELTA degree rather than TEFL. It is more concrete and is globally recognised. However it can take up to a month to earn and will cost you around a grand, but at least you can bask in the knowledge that you are being sufficiently trained and qualified to teach english. Here is a list of legit schools in Ireland that have a license to confer CELTA degrees. http://acels.ie.somedomain.ie/Search.aspx?location=Dublin

If you want to know more, there is an excellent thread in the "teaching & lecuring" forum under the "edu" tab.
