For Criminal Minds fans, Season 5 has been great so far. Nice to see a bit of a story arc popping up to help gel the season together.

One to watch out for this season is episode 9, which is the 100th episode. For me, it was one of the standout episodes of any show since the start of the TV season in September, and one of the best episodes of Criminal Minds since the show started.

Totally agree. I've been really impressed with season 5 of Criminal Minds. The 100th episode is fantastic. The whole "will hotch survive" thing is done really well too.

Love Crimnal Minds, and watching it as I type, but for the life of me I cant remeber what happened in season 4! What happened hotch again?

In the season 4 finale,

Hotch arrived home to his apartment. George Foyet (The Reaper) was waiting for him. He pointed a gun at Hotches head, told him he should have taken the deal, the screen went black and there was a gunshot.

I love this show. Watching it on rte 2 but also watching the box sets. On season 3 at the moment. Anyone know when the season 4 boxset is coming out?

What are your favourite episodes? I think mine was ' Riding the lightning' in season 1

Season 2, 'Lessons Learned' is my favourite. Terrific cat and mouse conversations between Gideon and a terrorist in Guantanamo.

I find Garcia to be the shows weak link. Hate the token 'Kooky' character the pops up a lot.

Agreed. That recent (US) episode where she had to 'connect' with a young geek to try and get info out of him was painful.

True that. And the whole Morgan "Hey baby girl" and garcia response thing is pretty cringeworthy as well.

I love the show but am finding the last few US episodes fairly weak. The latest one has an agent I would have sworn was Foyet but just looks like him. And he sounds exactly like Charlie Crews from "Life" as well. i.e. his manner of speech, mouth movements etc esp. at the end. If you know the 2 characters you'll get what i'm on about. Tis all a bit confusing.....:p

It was back last night on RTE 2 after all the football :mad: and omg poor Hotch but what an episode

Foyet killed Haley, Hotch's ex-wife

I cant see how the Emmys dont recognise this great show and the acting especially from the actors who plays Hotch and Reid

I just watched the episode on RTE 2 and it featured Forest Whittaker so I assume this is an intro for the new spin off show

Yep, its starting mid-season in the States.

I thought it was pretty cheesy myself - it'll take some time to get used to the new group.

Yep. It has a green light, but hasn't been officially named yet. It will pop up in January.

The finale was good and I'm glad it didnt involve Hotch this time around

It was good seeing Eric Close and Robert Davi back on tv
