This item is a present for my 10 year old - just for bedroom/bathroom type usage. Works great with the nano sized ipod - very good sound for the money - loud enough for my liking anyway. Tried my iTouch in the speakers but they have an underlying crackling sound coming from speakers which I think is because the connection is not as good as the iTouch is a heavier piece of equipment. Ideal for child/teenage bedroom - great value.

Nice one, considering it's £12.95 before shipping on Amazon (and that's from a marketplace seller who may not even post to Ireland...).
